Notes: Jake is a special boy. He came to us with Minnie. He was extremely skittish as first, but warmed up VERY QUICKLY. Frankly, he is a woman's dog. He likes men, but he loves the girls! He wants to crawl into your lap, and get all the loving you can give. We are working to put weight on him, seeing as he was skin and bones when he arrived. He does well with female dogs, but does NOT do well with other male dogs. He also gets excited when he sees you and will happy pee, but we do not consider that the worst thing! His cost covers our adoption fee, his neuter, microchip and basic vaccines.

Normal adoption fees: Male dogs: $110, Female dogs: $120, Male cats: $90, Female cats: $105, cash or check - includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip.

• Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Bland, Pulaski, Montgomery, Craig and Giles County areas of Virginia.
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents.

We will not ‘hold’ or ‘reserve’ a dog by phone or e-mail or Facebook message. Make sure that you are able to take your dog home on the day you adopt it. We will not keep a dog for you after its ‘available’ day.
