Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix?
Sex: Male
Age: 5 years approx
Size: Medium (50 lbs)
Color: Tan and white
Coat: Smooth
Vaccinated: Yes
Other Dogs: OK with large dogs
Notes: Trooper, 5 year old male Lab mix and personal staff favorite. Trooper was taken from a “home” where he exclusively lived outside on a chain and his “dog house” was two pallets made into a makeshift tent. This guy is so desperate.
We finally got some weight on him and he is now about 50 pounds. He favors women, but is learning that not all men are bad. With time and treats, he has done very well with men and nudges them for head pats. If you are looking for a companion and side kick (literally, he will not leave your side) come meet him. He has tested okay with large dogs, we genuinely think he just does not know how to “dog”. He is confused during play groups and looks to his human for reassurance With time, patience, confidence building and LOTS of love, Trooper will be a rock star. He is already our golden boy, so just imagine how awesome he will be in the right home.Sponsored Adoption
